Long Hair

I've been growing my hair out for a few years now. My goal was to make it to waist length, but lately I've gotten so tired of it. It would look nice with some loose curls but I don't really have the patience for that. Plus with the thickness of my hair curls fall out quickly. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any quick and easy curling tips for thick long hair.
I'd hate to cut it.

p.s. here are my new sunglasses. Im also awaiting some brown ones 40's style!

Wet hair with curling mousse in it, put it up in bendy rollers, either blow dry or sleep in it. I have really thick hair about the same length as yours but this works really well for me, I just take them out when dry and spritz with hair spray, but just enough to give it a helping hand, not go crispy, bleh.

Love the pink dress, it's beautiful.

For tight curls that last days and days, I sleep in foam rollers. I usually let it air-dry after being washed, and put a tiny bit of gel (yes! gel, haha) on about 1 inch sections and then in the rollers.

However, because I am lazy and get sick of doing that, for daily wear I usually just use a curling iron. I find if I blow dry my hair it holds the curls better :P haha, I curl random sections, about 1-2 inches into tight curls and let it chill. I sometimes wrap the curls around themselves to make them last longer though the day.

Hey there, I am a pro hair designer. The most important thing when curling heavy thich hair is product before you curl, think mouse or gel. I agree with liberty and Kater about sleeping in the foam rollers, just make sure to get the biggest ones or you can turn out to look like annie. Good luck, You hair will look gorgeous curled.

I have the opposite problem - lots of fine and slippery hair! - but my lucky thick-haired friends swear by those bendy rollers. Put them in when you go to sleep (hopefully they're not too hideously uncomfortable).

The sunglasses look great.

Thank you guys! I'll be sure to try out these tips soon. My hair is in need of serious help. I'll hopefully post some results as soon as I buy new curlers.
